BONDERITE® L-GP M 206 ACHESON
BONDERITE® L-GP M 206 ACHESON is a molybdenum disulfide additive that improves extreme-pressure and anti-wear characteristics in water-based lubricant systems.
BONDERITE® L-GP M 206 ACHESON (also known as MOLYDAG 206) is a water-based dispersion of specially refined molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). This additive effectively enhances the extreme-pressure and anti-wear performance of water-based lubricants, making it ideal for applications that require high-performance lubrication. When diluted with water to achieve the desired solids content, BONDERITE® L-GP M 206 ACHESON forms a durable, adherent film on various metal substrates, providing long-lasting protection and performance. Its formulation is optimized to resist settling, which ensures consistent film formation, guaranteeing the reliable performance of the lubricant system across a wide range of operating conditions. Moreover, the dispersion's neutral pH characteristic minimizes the risk of corrosion and adverse reactions, setting it apart from typical acidic MoS2 slurries in water. It can be applied using a spray system, brush, dip, or swab. This unique combination of features makes BONDERITE® L-GP M 206 ACHESON an indispensable component for enhancing the longevity and efficiency of water-based lubricant systems.
