BONDERITE® L-FG 31 ACHESON
BONDERITE® L-FG 31 ACHESON is a water-based graphite die lubricant that provides exceptional lubricity and release on hot, warm, and precision forging presses.
BONDERITE® L-FG 31 ACHESON (previously known as Deltaforge 31) is a water-based graphite die lubricant specifically designed for hot, warm, and precision forging operations. This lubricant stands out due to its exceptional lubricity and release properties, making it one of the most widely used forging die lubricants globally. The formulation includes a very fine particle size of graphite that is dispersed within a specialty stabilizer and binder system. This distinctive particle size distribution results in a forging lubricant that offers superior lubricity and release, which translates to remarkable wetting performance and the potential for higher dilution ratios. Consequently, users experience longer die life, less product consumption, reduced scrap, and minimized rework. BONDERITE® L-FG 31 ACHESON exhibits excellent stability, preventing any separation or settling within the concentrate, thus ensuring consistent performance. Its versatility allows it to be employed across a wide array of forgings and alloys, compatible with metals like plain carbon steel, superalloys, aluminum, and brass. The product's recommended dilution ratio ranges from 3 to 20 parts water to 1 part concentrate, and it is most effective when applied using a spray system for comprehensive film coverage, enhancing the process's efficiency and overall effectiveness.
