BONDERITE L-GP PRODAG
Water-based lubricant with graphite primarily used for casting release in aluminum permanent mold applications, also used as a general purpose product.
BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG (also known as Prodag) is a water-based, dispersed graphite lubricant that is excellent for die casting release in aluminum permanent mold casting. BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG provides exceptional release, improved surface finish and mold protection.
BONDERITE® L-CA 193 and BONDERITE® L-CA 395 are often used as base insulating coatings for BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG. These products used in conjunction provide a lubricating film with good insulation properties and excellent release.

Features & Benefits
Protects the mold from corrosion, increasing mold life and reducing related downtime Non-toxic, non-flammable and smokeless Provides superior release and improved surface finish
Problems Solved
BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG helps provide a solution to the following industry & application problems:
Reduced Mold Life from Wear & Corrosion Poor Mold Release & Increased Part Defects Increased Scrap Metal Production & Waste
Applications
For best results, diluted BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG should be applied via conventional spray techniques. BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG can also be brushed, however spraying ensures a more uniform coating and helps prevent mold build-up. The recommended starting dilution is at least 1:4 (BONDERITE® L-GP PRODAG:water), but dilutions of 1:10 or higher are normal during production. The concentrate should be agitated before and during dilution, and the diluted product should be stirred during use to keep the graphite dispersed. The mold surface should be clean and pre-heated to at least 200°F (93°C) prior to being coated to ensure fast evaporation of the lubricant and good film formation.
