BONDERITE® L-FM 727 MU
BONDERITE® L-FM 727 MU is the makeup version of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON, a forming lubricant for cold forming processes with aluminum and steel.
BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON (previously known as BONDERLUBE 727) is a forming lubricant applied to bonderized aluminum and steel during cold forming operations like extrusion, tube drawing, and cold heading. BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON has a high melting point and film strength, and will react with the BONDERITE® conversion coating to form a multi-layer lubricant film. This film allows for cold deformation by reducing die contact, reducing wear, increasing forming speeds, improving surface finish, lowering the temperature of the tool, reducing defect rate, and lowering the chance of blistering during heat treating. BONDERITE® L-FM 727 MU (also known as BONDERLUBE 727 MAKEUP) is the makeup version of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 ACHESON, and should be used for the original buildup. The suggested concentration for buildup is 100 pounds of BONDERITE® L-FM 727 MU per 100 gallons of solution.
