BONDERITE® L-MR B-451 is a bio-resistant, high-oil-content, semi-synthetic fluid for machining and grinding ferrous and aluminum alloys.
BONDERITE® L-MR B-451 (also known as MULTAN B-451) is a semi-synthetic, high-oil-content fluid specifically formulated for machining and grinding ferrous and aluminum alloys. It is designed for heavy-duty machining processes involving materials such as aluminum, cast iron, and steel, where the demand for exceptional lubricity, bio- resistance, cleanliness, and cooling performance is paramount. The fluid's high lubricity ensures it is suitable for a wide array of machining and grinding applications, effectively preventing wear and damage to both the machined parts and the equipment used. With its formulation bolstered by bio-resistant additives, BONDERITE® L-MR B-451 smartly eliminates the need for tank-side antimicrobials, avoiding the notorious "Monday morning odor" that operators are keen to prevent. In addition, this cutting fluid excels in tramp oil rejection, which not only extends the lifespan of the solution but also facilitates the easy removal of contaminants that might otherwise affect machining quality. Furthermore, its impressive wetting properties, paired with high emulsion stability, lead to reduced product consumption, enhancing the overall performance and efficiency of the fluid in industrial settings. These features make BONDERITE® L-MR B-451 an integral part of ensuring optimal operations in machining environments. The recommended starting concentration is 5% to 10%, but can vary depending on the machining operation.
