Capstone™ ST-300 is used as a water-based active ingredient in penetrating sealer for acid-sensitive mineral based surfaces. It provides outstanding oil and water repellency and excellent stain resistance.
Capstone™ ST-300 is a water-based, anionic fluorochemical dispersion that serves as the active ingredient in VOC free penetrating sealer for stone, unglazed tile, grout, concrete, and brick. Capstone™ ST-300 has a slightly alkaline pH and provides a durable, non-film forming, protective barrier to oil and water of acid sensitive surfaces. When compared to silicone based sealers Capstone™ ST-300 provides superior oil repellency and stain resistance.
Capstone™ ST-300 should be diluted to 1.5-2.5% actives and applied using a brush, roller, or mop. It should never be spray applied. The surface being treated should be thoroughly wetted and allowed to dry for 15-30 min. Excess liquid should then be removed.
Capstone™ ST-300 is only approved for indoor use.

Capstone® fluorosurfactants & fluororepellents were some of the first short-chain alternatives commercialized so Chemours has lots of experience helping their customers reformulate.
Capstone™ fluorosurfactants and repellents were introduced as sustainable replacements that meet the goals of the U.S. EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program. They are based on short-chain molecules that cannot break down to PFOA or PFOS in the environment.
