Capstone™ ST-110
Capstone™ ST-110 is a water-based dispersion of fluorinated acrylic copolymer that is the active ingredient in penetrating sealers to provide oil and water repellency to low porosity stone and tile surfaces.
Capstone™ ST-110 is a water-based dispersion of fluoropolymer designed to be used as the active ingredient in low VOC penetrating sealer for low porosity mineral surfaces like granite and slate. Capstone™ ST-110 will form a durable, non-film forming, protective barrier with outstanding oil and water repellency and excellent stain resistance. When compared to competitive silicone based sealers Capstone™ ST-110 has similar water repellency but far superior oil and stain resistance.
It should be diluted to 1.5-2.5% actives and applied using a brush, roller, mop, or low pressure sprayer until the surface being treated is thoroughly wet. Allow to dry at ambient temperature for 15-30 minutes then remove excess liquid
Capstone™ ST-110 is only approved for indoor use.
All samples and purchases of Capstone for new projects and applications must first be evaluated for approval by ChemPoint and Chemours.

Capstone™ ST-110 is used in water-based penetrating sealers, especially for natural stones, unglazed tile, grout, terra cotta, concrete, and brick.
Capstone® fluorosurfactants & fluororepellents were some of the first short-chain alternatives commercialized so Chemours has lots of experience helping their customers reformulate.
Capstone™ fluorosurfactants and repellents were introduced as sustainable replacements that meet the goals of the U.S. EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program. They are based on short-chain molecules that cannot break down to PFOA or PFOS in the environment.
