EPOLENE® E-14 is a low-density oxidized polyethylene wax. It is typically used as a lubricant and processing aid for PVC.
EPOLENE® E-14 is an oxidized polyethylene polymer with low density and low molecular weight. It has the lowest density and molecular weight of any EPOLENE® emulsifiable polymer. It can be used in color concentrates and as a lubricant in processing rigid and flexible PVC. It is listed with the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) under Standard 61 Drinking Water System Components — Health Effects, making it suitable for processing PVC used in drinking water applications. EPOLENE® E-14 is also an additive that imparts good slip resistance to floor polishes and coatings based on emulsions. It may also be used in hot-melt adhesives to increase adhesion to various substrates.
