EPOLENE® N-11 is a low molecular weight polyethylene wax used as a mold release additive and lubricant in rubber processing.
EPOLENE® N-11 is a low density, low molecular weight polyethylene homopolymer. It has a low coefficient of friction that makes it useful as a lubricant for rubber processing and as a mold release additive. EPOLENE® N-11 is also used in paper coatings and printing inks to improve scuff resistance and gloss. It has a low viscosity and cloud point that offer an advantage in some wax modification applications.
