PARALOID™ EXL 3330 is a pelletized MBS impact modifier that provides heat stability in polycarbonate, polybutylene terephthalate, and polyethylene terephthalate plastic systems. It is suitable for both weatherable and nonweathering applications.
PARALOID™ EXL impact modifier additives from the Dow Chemical Company increase the ductility of injection moldings, lower temperature toughness, and reduce melt viscosity for engineering resins. PARALOID™ EXL 3300’s core-shell structure and acrylic compositions improve impact strength with only a minor change in other mechanical and physical properties. With versatile polymer compatibility with various engineering resins, PARALOID™ EXL 3300 improves impact properties for thermoset resins, such as epoxy.

PARALOID™ EXL 3330 modifier can be used where the focus is on weatherability and not low-temperature impact strength. Examples include automotive and electric vehicle under-the-hood applications, electric and electronic connectors, lawn mowers and tractors' body panels, thermoset molding compounds and adhesives, and upgrading the impact performance of recycled resins. PARALOID™ EXL 3300 also offers excellent properties for CPET packaging applications.
