PARALOID™ EXL 2330 is an acrylic core-shell modifier ideal for a wide variety of applications that require high impact strength at temperatures as low as -10°C, as well as good heat and UV stability.
Dow PARALOID™ EXL Additives increase the ductility of injection moldings, lower temperature toughness, and reduce melt viscosity for engineering resins. PARALOID™ EXL 2330 modifier can be used where the focus is on weatherability and not low-temperature impact strength. PARALOID™ EXL 2330 acrylic core-shell impact modifier allows for a balance of impact strength and modulus retention for a variety of engineered resins.
PARALOID™ EXL 2330 modifier also improves impact properties when appropriately dispersed into the resin system. As a general-purpose impact modifier, this grade is compatible with polycarbonate (PC), polyesters (PET, PBT, PPT), polyacetal, styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), epoxy, and glass fiber reinforced nylon.
