Krytox™ 240AC is an NLGI 2, nonflammable, aerospace-grade PFPE grease with a PTFE thickener. Its base oil viscosity of 270 cSt at 38°C meets MIL-PRF-27617 Type III.
Chemours Krytox™ 240AC is a white, buttery grease that is nonreactive, nonflammable, safe in chemical and oxygen service, and extremely long lasting. This highly engineered perfluoropolyether-based lubricant is designed primarily for aerospace and aviation applications where consistent, reliable performance under aggressive environments is critical.
Krytox™ 240AC Grease is formulated from a high-purity PFPE base oil and proprietary additives that allow for protection and lubrication from −100°F to 750°F (−73°C to 399°C).
Krytox™ 240AC Grease meets the strict performance requirements under military specification PRF-27617 Types I, II, and III. Krytox™ 240AC also provides NSF approval for incidental food contact under H1.
