Krytox™ GPL 206 Grease is a high-performance synthetic lubricant solution developed with a PFPE (perfluoropolyether) base oil and thickened with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) powder. This grease is a general-purpose lubricant (GPL) with high-performance and anticorrosion additives.
Krytox™ GPL 206 provides exceptional protection and lubrication performance for a wide variety of applications within the automotive and industrial markets.
Krytox™ GPL 206 is NSF H1 food-grade approved. Krytox™ GPL 206 Grease has a base oil viscosity of 243 cSt at 40°C and is suitable for applications where temperatures range from −33°F to 500°F.
This specialty lubricant is a white, buttery grease with the same chemical properties as the fluorinated base oil it is made with, Krytox™ GPL 106.
Krytox™ GPL 206 Grease has medium molecular weight of the base PFPE synthetic oil to improve functionality at middle-range temperatures for specific applications.

Krytox™ GPL 206 can be used in a wide range of general-purpose lubrication where nonflammable, food-safe, nonreactive, and exceptionally long-lasting performance is required. Typical applications for Krytox™ GPL 206 Grease include valves, bearings, and instruments exposed to chemicals, alcohols, solvents, acids, bases, and oxygen servicing.
Krytox™ GPL 206 is also commonly used to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) in automotive applications.
