Dianal BR-113
Dianal BR-113 is a low–molecular weight, fast-dissolving acrylic resin that promotes fast solvent release. It is mainly used in industrial coatings.
Dianal BR-113 is an acrylic resin with relatively low molecular weight, supplied as solid, nondusting beads. It is soluble and dissolves quickly in solvents such as esters, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, glycol ethers, and toluene, forming a solution with low viscosity. Dianal BR-113 has similar characteristics to Dianal BR-106, except it is a harder resin with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 75°C. It is ideal in coating applications as a film-forming resin and creates films with good adhesion and a very high degree of resistance to abrasion, chemical attack, weathering, and discoloration due to UV exposure.
Dianal BR-113 may be used in coil coating applications when flexibility, durability, and high throughput are required. Since it promotes fast solvent release, coil coating formulations cure quickly. Similar to Dianal BR-106, this resin may also be used in coating applications, but where higher resistance to alcohol-based solvents is required, namely in automotive or industrial settings.
