Lutein 5% DC/AFG
Lutein 5% DC/AFG is a free-flowing microencapsulated beadlet powder standardized to 5% lutein and 0.3%–0.7% zeaxanthin. It is specially formulated for instant applications, such as powdered drinks and effervescent tablets.
This 5% lutein beadlet grade contains finely dispersed free lutein and zeaxanthin (natural and nonesterified) extracted from marigold flowers in a matrix of non-GMO modified starch and glucose syrup. DL-alpha tocopherol and sodium ascorbate are added to maintain product quality over the shelf life. It is part of the Divi’s CaroQuik line specifically formulated for rapid delivery in cold-water applications.

Lutein may only be used as a nutritional additive for eye health products following US dietary supplement regulations. For products to be sold in the EU, lutein may be used as a natural alternative to yellow food coloring.
