Natural Beta-Carotene 1% SD/N is a natural spray-dried powder standardized to 1%. It is ideal for water-based food and beverage applications requiring a vibrant yellow-to-light-orange color.
For this spray-dried grade, beta-carotene is dissolved in sunflower oil and finely dispersed in a matrix of gum acacia, non-GMO maltodextrin, sucrose, and mixed tocopherols. It results in a yellow-to-light-orange color when used in water-based applications.

Applications
Beta-Carotene 1% SD/N is ideal for coloring water-based food and beverage applications, such as powdered drink mixes, smoothies, sports and energy drinks, baked goods, pasta, effervescent tablets , stick packs, yogurts, and confectionery. A stock solution can be prepared by slowly adding the desired quantity of powder to cold or warm water under continuous agitation.
This grade is not intended for softgels, capsules, and tablets, or vitamin fortification.
