Twinkling Star is a brand of Antimony Trioxide (ATO) that is a white, solid powder used as a fire retardant in conjunction with a halogen to reduce a product's flammability. It functions as a synergist thereby reducing the amount of halogen-based product required to achieve desired levels of flammability.
Antimony Trioxide (ATO) does not melt or vaporize during normal use and will not form vapors unless heated to extremely high temperatures.
