PhosGard APP is a fine particle crystal phase II modified Ammonium Polyphosphate with phosphorus content of 31% and Nitrogen content of 15%. The nitrogen present in PhosGard APP aids in char formation and hence acts as an intumescent flame retardant PhosGard APP is effective in water based coatings, polyurethanes, thermosets and polyolefins.
