POLYBOND™ 3002 is a low-functionality and high-viscosity maleic anhydride–modified polypropylene coupling agent ideal for use with processing equipment that does not have a low-feed-rate capability.
POLYBOND™ 3002 is a coupling agent for glass-fiber-reinforced, cellulose-fiber-reinforced, and mineral-filled polypropylene (PP). As a compatibilizer, POLYBOND™ 3002 blends recycled polypropylene/polyamide and polypropylene/EVOH to improve processing, mechanical properties, and long-term heat-aging resistance. POLYBOND™ coupling agent offers reinforced polypropylene-enhanced thermal and physical properties. For natural fiber fillers in polypropylene (PP), POLYBOND™ 3002 can help improve long-term performance benefits, such as low moisture absorption and enhanced creep. Furthermore, POLYBOND™ 3002 helps blend and bridge incompatible materials to the polymer matrix.
