Dianal MB-2752 is a hydroxyl-functional acrylic resin with a hydroxyl number of 90 mg KOH/g. It is designed for advanced two component (2K) coatings with melamine or isocyanate crosslinkers, creating durable coatings with excellent durability and flexibility.
Dianal MB-2752 is a hydroxyl-functional acrylic bead resin that offers the highest hydroxyl value among Mitsubishi’s DIANAL resins, with an OH of 90 mg KOH/g, to facilitate crosslinking. It can be cured with melamine-type or isocyanate-type crosslinkers in 2K systems. Presented as free-flowing, spherical beads that are non-dusting, MB-2752 offers formulators with rapid dissolution, formulation flexibility, and easy handling. As a low–molecular weight resin, Dianal MB-2752 provides formulations with low solution viscosities and helps create films with a balance of flexibility and toughness. Dianal MB-2752 also provides a high gloss, resilient film with excellent resistance to chemicals, moisture, weathering, and UV exposure, ensuring the lasting, durable performance of coatings. This resin also has low reactivity for pigments and can be used for creating topcoats or pigmented coatings.
