Dianal MB-2595 is an ultra-low molecular weight solid acrylic resin featuring amine functionality for enhanced pigment dispersion and formulation compatibility. It has a glass transition temperature of 59°C and a relatively molecular weight of 11,000.
Dianal MB-2595 is a amine-functional bead resin designed to meet the strict formulation requirements of inks and coatings, creating low-viscosity systems for films with an effective balance of flexibility and toughness. The narrow molecular weight distribution of Dianal MB-2595 prevents brittleness, shrinkage, weathering, and more. Dianal MB-2595 easily disperses pigments within systems and is typically used in the making of solvent-borne and UV digital inks, allowing for greater flexibility in solvent selection and formulation stability. As a non-reactive resin formulated with minimal residual polymerization initiator content, this compound can be used in reactive systems and offers compatibility with long oil alkyds. Dianal MB-2595 can also be mixed in a 3:1 ratio with Dianal MB-2594 for carbon black applications.
