Dianal MB-2588 is a modified version of Dianal BR-106 that provides increased adhesion and toughness to various paint, coating, adhesive, and ink formulations. It has a high molecular weight of 120,000 and an intermediate glass transition temperature of 49°C.
Dianal MB-2588 is a high molecular weight butyl methacrylic resin designed for coatings and inks requiring excellent adhesion, durability, and resistance to weather, UV, chemicals, and moisture. Its superior film forming and adhesion properties allow for application on a wide range of substrates, forming a flexible, soft coating on surfaces. Dianal MB-2588 is available as a solid, free flowing spherical bead form that easily dissolves in weak solvents with rapid dissolution.
