Bonderite® S-AD 85 (Previously known as RODINE 85) is a liquid inhibitor for metal, acid-based pickling operations. Bonderite® S-AD 85 can be used on a range of steel types and a variety of active acid concentrations.

The total amount of Bonderite® S-AD 85 to provide maximum protection will vary by metal type, temperature & pickling process.
Some general recommendations are:
Pickling Mild and Low Carbon Steels
- Temperatures <180°F Use (0.125 to 0.5% vol)
- Temperatures >180°F use (0.25 to 0.5% vol)
Pickling Alloys and More Reactive Steels
-Temperatures <180°F (0.3 to 0.5% vol)
Industrial Cleaning Operations
- Ranges from 0.05 to 0.30% volume regardless of acidic dilution used.
