BONDERITE® S-FN GP 1904 ACHESON is a resin-bonded, graphite-based dry film lubricant that forms a low-friction coating on metal substrates.
BONDERITE® S-FN GP 1904 ACHESON is a sophisticated mixture of fluorocarbon resin and graphite, expertly dispersed within a thermosetting binder. Upon undergoing a heat curing process, this product forms a low-friction coating on metal surfaces, thereby eliminating stick-slip characteristics typically associated with such applications. As a resin-bonded lubricant, it stands out for its ability to provide durable dry film lubrication across an array of industrial and consumer applications. This robustness ensures that critical components like fasteners, carburetors, lock mechanisms, valves, and other moving parts perform reliably, even in extreme environmental conditions. The lubricating coating reduces the risk of wear and tear, preventing the detrimental effects of corrosion and ensuring seamless operation.
BONDERITE® S-FN GP 1904 ACHESON should be spray applied, preferably with an atomized spray gun, and heat cured using one of the following curing cycles:
60 minutes at 160°C (substrate temperature)
30 minutes at 180°C (substrate temperature)
10 minutes at 200°C (substrate temperature)
BONDERITE® S-FN GP 1904 ACHESON can be used as supplied, or diluted with methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) in the ratio of three parts product (by weight) to one part solvent for maximum smoothness.
