Viton™ VPA-3 is a processing aid that can be used in the molding of all Viton™ fluoroelastomers types supplied in pellets form.
Viton™ VPA-3 is a sulfur compound used as a processing aid in all types of Viton™ fluoroelastomers. Viton™ VPA-3 has the best mold release among all process aids. Viton™ VPA-3 is particularly effective in increasing the care rate of bisphenol-cured systems.
Viton™ VPA-3 is highly recommended for products that require tight compression set resistance. It is also excellent for molding operations that utilize automatic part removal. The recommended load rate for Viton™ VPA-3 is 0.5-–1.5 phr. Viton™ VPA-3 will not affect the peroxide-cured compound
