Overview
HiTEC® 46610 is a fully formulated diesel fuel additive package designed to enhance engine performance in winter conditions. This multifunctional additive package contains cold flow improvers to ensure diesel fuel flows smoothly in lower temperatures, along with deicers and wax anti-settling additives that prevent gelling. The product is formulated with Greenclean™ detergent technology, which thoroughly cleans injectors, thereby optimizing the overall efficiency of the fuel system. To further improve engine performance, HiTEC® 46610 includes a cetane improver that enhances ignition quality, ensuring a quicker and more reliable start, even in cold weather. The inclusion of a lubricity improver helps protect the fuel system and injectors from wear and tear, extending the lifespan of these components and reducing maintenance costs. These combined features make HiTEC® 46610 a comprehensive solution for maintaining diesel engine optimality and reliability throughout the colder months.

Problems Solved
Diesel engines face several issues, especially in colder climates. One of these primary concerns is fuel line freeze-up, which occurs when diesel fuel solidifies in the lines, preventing flow and causing engine failure. In winter months, there is also a risk of diesel fuel gelling, a phenomenon that can lead to frozen or clogged fuel filters. Fuel injector deposits are another common problem that can negatively impact combustion, fuel economy, and power and can result in harmful emissions, such as CO2 and NOx. Without proper lubricity in the fuel, wear and tear can occur on fuel system components, potentially reducing lifespan and causing unscheduled downtime.
