Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is the first concentrated, reduced phosphate low-foaming acid sanitizer for CIP, COP, and circulation applications. Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer has a unique blend of acids that provides rapid bactericidal action while removing scale and mineral stone build-up for use on stainless steel surfaces.
Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. For food processing sanitation on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous, food-contact surfaces at 90 - 180 ppm of deconoic and nonanoic acids combined, Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is effective against Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli, 0157:H7. At 68 ppm decanoic and nonanoic acids combined Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is effective against Staphylococus aureus and Escherichia coli.
Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is also approved for descaling, sanitizing and will prevent the formation of milkstone and mineral stone on hard, non-porous, food-contact surfaces and dairy equipment. On pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous, food-contact surfaces Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is effective against Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Escherichia coli, 0157:H7.

Food Processing – Sanitizing
Effectiveness in 2 minutes at pH of 4 or lower, with 68 to 180 ppm decanoic and nonanoic acids combined, circulate sanitizing solution through CIP or COP systems. Effective against Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Escherichia coli, 0157:H7. At 68 ppm decanoic and nonanoic acids combined, Tri San™ Acid Sanitizer is effective against Staphylococus aureus and Escherichia coli.
