Rapidyne® is a super-concentrated, low-foaming, liquid iodophor and acid blend sanitizer. Rapidyne® is especially suited for continuous automatic feeding of central sanitizing systems. Rapidyne® has been formulated for use in bottling, beverage, and food processing industries along with other uses.
Rapidyne® is an iodine and acid based super-concentrated low-foaming sanitizer for cleaning processing equipment, tanks, filters, fillers, lines, and other stainless-steel equipment. Rapidyne® has a high acid content which improves microbial action and increases stronger detergent properties It also helps remove and control mineral scale. Rapidyne® is registered for use in bottling, beverage, and food processing industries, as well as milk and ice cream processing plants to insure sanitary filling procedures, sanitizing filters, syrup lines, tanks, etc.
Rapidyne® is also USDA authorized for use in federally inspected meat, poultry, rabbit, and egg-processing plants. In addition, Rapidyne® is USDA authorized under the food additive regulation for use on food processing equipment and utensils up to 25 ppm of titratable iodine, without requiring a rinse with potable water.
Rapidyne® is registered for use in stainless steel equipment only.

Dilution rates:
2 ounces of Rapidyne® to 13 gallons water, 50 ppm Iodine.
1 ounce of Rapidyne® to 13 gallons water, 25 ppm Iodine.
1 ounce of Rapidyne® to 30 gallons water, 10 ppm Iodine.
Sanitizing food processing equipment and utensils up to 25 ppm of titratable iodine, without requiring a rinse with potable water
Milk and Ice cream processing areas and on filling equipment:
Rapidyne® can be used as a sanitizer at 12.5 to 25 ppm titratable iodine. Rapidyne® can be used at 25 ppm to help prevent the formation of milkstone on processing equipment.
Sanitizer in frozen and fresh-pack plants:
Rapidyne® used at 25 ppm, effective in reducing cross contamination.
Non and returnable bottles:
Rapidyne® proportioned at 4 to 6 ppm into pre-rinse and non-returnable bottles and final rinse to produce sanitize bottles.
Soft Drink Plants In-pace Sanitizing:
1 ounce Rapidyne® to 13 gallons of water (25 ppm titratable iodine) at least one minute of contact time for processing equipment. Drain sanitizing solution from the system. Rapidyne® is also effective at removing flavors between runs.
For external sanitizing and disinfecting exterior equipment:
2 ounce Rapidyne® to 13 gallons of water (50 ppm titratable iodine).
Sanitary Filling:
Rapidyne® can be used in sanitizing bottles or cans in final rinse. Exact concentration dependent on local conditions, details on label.
Storage tank sanitizing:
Rapidyne® is approved for sanitizing beer fermentation and holding tanks at 20 to 25 ppm active in combination with automated cleaning systems.
Rapidyne® can also be used to clean and brighten cans.
