HiTEC® 5788 is a polymethacrylate-based pour point depressant (PPD) additive for formulating various lubricants for colder environments.
HiTEC® 5788 is a polymethacrylate-based (PMA-based) pour point depressant additive for use in formulating a range of automotive lubricants. It imparts excellent thickening efficiency and is compatible with a range of Group II and Group III base oils.

Provides both viscosity index and pour point depressant characteristics Can permit the selection of less costly base stocks that have not received severe dewaxing
Applications
The typical dosage of HITEC® 5788 will range between 0.02 wt% and 0.5 wt%, depending on application and base oil.
