Dow UCON™ LUB 35 is a compounded, synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based fluid formulation designed to lubricate moving and rotating parts on large-scale mills and calendering machines. UCON™ LUB 35 is a commonly used lubricant in rubber, textile, paper, and plastic manufacturing industries. UCON™ calender lubricants are formulated for stability under high-temperature environments where conventional lubricants might fail. UCON™ LUB 35 has a high viscosity index and kinematic viscosity of 728–842 cSt at 37.8°C.

Applications
Dow UCON™ LUB 35 PAG based fluid is a lubricant formulation for large-diameter journal (or sleeve) bearings, anti-friction bearings, and several types of gears including moving and rotating parts on large-scale mills, and calendering machines used in the rubber, textile, paper, and plastics industries. Thermally stable lubrication in high temperatures, and requires no pour-point depressants at low temperatures to remain fluid.
