OMNIFIT® FD1042 is a low-strength anaerobic adhesive formulated for applications that require frequent disassembly of parts. Unlike high-strength threadlockers, it allows for easy removal of fasteners using standard tools without damaging the assembly. OMNIFIT® FD1042 is ideal for use on small screws, bolts, and nuts in low-pressure applications.
The adhesive cures when confined between close-fitting metal parts in the absence of oxygen, forming a secure bond that resists oil, chemicals, and mild vibrations.
