ZZZ™ Disinfectant is a concentrated broad spectrum iodophor sanitizer for use in spray, dip, and CIP applications in a variety of industrial, institutional, and agricultural applications. ZZZ™ Disinfectant can be used as a one-step cleaner and is a highly effective virucide, bactericide, and fungicide.
ZZZ™ Disinfectant is a concentrated iodophor based broad spectrum one-step cleaner-disinfectant and no-rinse sanitizer for use in: Hospitals and Clinics, Food Processing Plants, Dental Offices, Glove Hand Sanitizer, Schools and Institutions, Nursing Homes, Institutional Kitchens, Lunch Rooms, and restrooms.
ZZZ™ Disinfectant is approved by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat, poultry, and egg processing plants. ZZZ™ Disinfectant also meets OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens act requirements. ZZZ™ Disinfectant is not for residential use.
ZZZ™ Disinfectant is appropriate for one-step cleaning and disinfecting across a wide range of surfaces and uses with efficacy against a broad range of viruses and bacteria. ZZZ™ Disinfectant can also be used on food contact surfaces and does not require a final rinse when used in accordance with the 178.1010 Federal Food Additive Regulation.

Efficacy over a wide range of bacterial, viral, and other micro-organic contaminants
ZZZ™ Disinfectant effective in hard water (up to 400 ppm as CaCO3) and in 5% organic serum load against the following viruses, bacteria, and pathogenic fungi: Vaccinia, Herpes Simplex Type 1, and Influenza A2/Japan 305; bactericidal against Salmonella enterica, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and E. Coli; fungicidal against Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Used in hard water (up to 400 ppm CaCO3), ZZZ™ Disinfectant is effective against the HIV-1 virus on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces and objects previously soiled with blood or other body fluids.
For one-step cleaning and disinfecting applications (institutions and health care):
Use 3 ounces ZZZ™ Disinfectant per 5 gallons of warm water (68°F, 20°C or warmer), immerse objects in disinfecting solution or apply the solution with a mop, sponge or cloth. (75 ppm of product). Do not exceed 98 ppm active. Allow a 10 minute contact time with a disinfecting solution. All food contact surfaces must be rinsed with potable water before reuse. Floors, walls, and all other non-food contact do not require rinsing before reuse.
For food service operations:
Add 1-ounce ZZZ™ Disinfectant per 5 gallons of lukewarm water (25 ppm active). Allow one minute contact time (or longer if required by local sanitation codes), allow to dry, no rinse required.
For the sanitization of previously cleaned food contact surfaces:
Use 1 ounce ZZZ™ Disinfectant per 5 gallons of lukewarm water (25 ppm active). Spray or immerse equipment, allow 1 minute of contact time. No final rinse is required Federal Food Additive Regulation 178.1010.
