Overview
Bostik® 70-05A is an all-purpose, silyl modified polymer (SMP) adhesive capable of maintaining permanent elasticity in harsh weather and temperature conditions, withstanding damage from UV and temperatures ranging from −40°F to 248°F (−40°C to 120°C). With its SMP base formulated free of isocyanates, PVC, and solvents, Bostik® 70-05A is a neutral, odorless adhesive meant for primerless application to a wide range of common substrates.
Bostik® 70-05A can be used successfully across a variety of material surfaces, including PVC, glass, polyester, wood, steel, zinc, copper, aluminum, brass, powder-coated metals, and most lacquered metal surfaces, due to its versatile paint compatibility with most industrial paints and lacquer systems. Bostik® 70-05A can be extruded with a handgun or an air pressure gun at temperatures between 41°F to 95°F (5°C to 35°C) and cures upon exposure to moisture with an open time of less than 15 minutes.
