HiTEC® 3491LV

HiTEC® 3491LV automatic transmission fluid (ATF) additive package is intended for formulating an ATF for retail and installer transmission markets where the fluid needs to be OEM-approved and meet the performance requirements of most vehicles driven in the United States. This multi-vehicle automatic transmission fluid additive demonstrates exceptional performance to improve fuel economy, shifting, and fluid life for a smoother driving experience and a longer service interval between fluid change outs. It has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures—to prevent fluid breakdown and sludge and varnish buildup—and anti-wear properties to protect transmission gears. This helps keep transmission components clean and operating at peak performance. Additionally, its cold-temperature characteristics keep the fluid flowing at low temperatures, permitting easier cold start-ups. With valid licenses, automatic transmission fluid formulated with HiTEC® 3491LV and an appropriate base stock can be marketed as DEXRON®-VI, MERCON®LV, and JASO 1A LV fluid.
