HiTEC® 34022 is a multipurpose additive package for the formulation of automatic transmission fluids for ultra-low, low-, and high-viscosity grades.
HiTEC® 34022 automatic transmission fluid (ATF) additive is an all-in-one additive package for formulating transmission fluids for the service fill industry. This performance additive technology provides multi-vehicle and multi-viscosity coverage. It can be blended into ultra-low, low-, and high-viscosity automatic transmission fluids. Due to its balanced componentry, it delivers exceptional fuel efficiency, anti-wear performance, and electrical properties. When blended into suitable API Group III base oils, it is an ideal additive for blending fluids that meet the latest automatic transmission designs. This includes ultra-low viscosity transmission fluid and automatic transmission fluid for hybrid applications. HiTEC® 34022 meets JASO M315 Type 1A and 1A LV specifications and outperforms leading OEM genuine oils in high torque capacity and extended anti-shudder performance.

Transmission fluid marketers often deal with the complexity of sourcing multiple additives to blend automatic transmission for various viscosity grades or vehicle models. This can lead to increased costs, blending mistakes, or operational inefficiencies. In the modern automotive age of hybrid cars and ultra-low viscosity oil, it is challenging for marketers to design transmission fluids that deliver the right amount of wear protection and electrical performance. Ineffective formulations can lead to issues such as fluid degradation, component wear and damage, shorter fluid life, heat damage from short circuiting, or shaking, also known as transmission shudder.
