KATHON™ CG/ICP
KATHON™ CG/ICP is a highly effective, EPA-approved preservative for use in household care chemicals, industrial cleaning products, and agriculture formulations. It is based on an aqueous mixture of methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone (CMIT/MIT) and provides excellent microbial protection at a low level of use.
KATHON™ CG/ICP is an EPA-registered CMIT/MIT preservative designed for use as an in-can preservative in a broad range of household, institutional, and industrial products.
KATHON™ CG/ICP is also CFR approved for use in preharvest agriculture and crop protection formulations.
KATHON™ CG/ICP comes from over 30 years of experience with isothiazolinone chemistries from Dow, then from DuPont, and now manufactured by LANXESS to provide formulations with top-quality microbial protection and extended preservation. Using KATHON™ delivers the following:
