MOLYKOTE® G-5008 Dielectric Grease
MOLYKOTE® G-5008 Dielectric Grease is a high-performance, specially formulated silicone base grease with a PTFE thickener. It offers excellent dielectric properties, is commonly used in electrical applications, and is NLGI Grade 2–3).
MOLYKOTE® G-5008 is a dielectric grease with a silicone base oil that maintains its properties even when exposed to high temperatures for an extended period. The dielectric properties of this lubricant act as an insulator, preventing electrical connections from being made.
Formulated for the automotive industry, MOLYKOTE® G-5008 Dielectric Grease is multipurpose and also provides corrosion protection due to the silicone formula containing solid lubricant additives for electrical connectors and components.

Applications
MOLYKOTE® G-5008 Dielectric Grease, formulated with silicone, is designed primarily for rubber-on-ceramic and rubber-on-rubber applications.
This dielectric grease is well suited for the automotive industry where nonconductive lubrication is needed, such as use on spark plug boots, and electrical connectors in high-energy ignition systems. Other applications for this dielectric grease include but are not limited to electrical systems, connectors, and controls.
