Pilot D-300 Specialty Acid

Pilot® D-300 is the primary component in preferred electrolytes, used for making hard anodic oxide coatings on aluminum and aluminum-based alloys that are highly abrasion resistant and operate under a range of conditions. Its moderate cost and modest voltage and cooling requirements also make it an excellent electrolytic bath additive for the Duranodic process for aluminum. It creates a variety of coating colors, including metallic gray, brownish gray, black, bronze, gold, and dark brown, which are attractive for architectural and other aesthetic uses of aluminum.
