ACL® 90 Plus, Extra Granular is a free-flowing anhydrous chlorinated isocyanurate product that is supplied in a granular form. It offers a minimum of 90% available chlorine with extra granular particle size for slow-release and extended stability.
ACL® 90 Plus products (CAS# 87-90-1) have the highest available chlorine content of any solid oxidizer in the market. ACL® 90 Plus, Extra Granular is a sodium salt of trichlorocyanuric acid (trichlor) that provides 90% chlorine with slow-release at neutral ph levels. ACL® 90 products dissolve readily in water making it ideal for intermittent feed applications including, single-dose continuous chlorination applications.
ACL® 90' s granular form is particularly well suited when coupled with a feeder for large consumption applications. Their solubility range makes them an excellent choice as oxidizers and bleaching agents in consumer and industrial applications such as laundry detergents, swimming pools, and water treatment.
ACL® 90, trichloro isocyanuric acid (trichlor), provides higher chlorine content compared to dichloro isocyanuric acid (dichlor) materials. Due to the acid nature of trichloroisocyanuric acid materials, they are less compatible with alkaline ingredients in a formulation similar to most hypochlorite materials.
