SilGrip™ NVH-LT 1 is a contact adhesive used in automotive & aerospace applications to provide improved noise & vibration dampening at low temperatures.
SilGrip™ NVH-LT 1 is a component used in a contact adhesive system that provides noise and vibration dampening over a wide temperature range. SilGrip™ NVH-LT 1 is mixed with SilGrip™ NVH-PSA 1 to improve dampening performance of the SilGrip™ NVH adhesive system at low temperatures. The peak dampening performance of SilGrip™ NVH-PSA 1 occurs at ~48°C but with SilGrip™ NVH-LT 1 this optimal temperature can be reduced to below -50°C. In addition, the SilGrip™ NVH contact adhesive system exhibits excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and UV. The ability for SilGrip™ NVH to withstand extreme conditions and perform in a wide range of temperatures makes it an ideal adhesive for automotive and aerospace assembly applications.
