LyondellBasell polyethylene PE-LD 150 is similar to Microthene® FN 510-00 in that it can be used in specialty applications such as ceramics, fabrics, grease, inks, coatings, and plastics. PE
PE-LD 150 is compatible with polyolefin resin and reduces shrinkage in sheet and bulk molding compound applications. Glass-fiber-reinforced polyester sheet molding compounds can experience improved surface appearance by incorporating LyondellBasell's PE-LD 150. This grade also offers pigment uniformity and reduces the shrinkage of end-use plastic products. LyondellBasell PE-LD 150 imparts an excellent surface appearance due to the reduction of volumetric shrinkage of the resin.
