Scogin® Alginates are biodegradable polymers derived from brown seaweed that is renewably sourced off the Norwegian coast line. Scogin® Alginates are used in industrial applications to thicken and gel aqueous solutions. One of the main benefits of Scogin® Alginates is that gelation is independent of temperature and initiated with calcium.
