SYLOID® XDP 3150 silica is an advanced porous carrier capable of absorbing up to 1 to 1.5 times its weight in liquids. It is designed with a high pore volume and large internal surface area for efficient liquid absorption in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications. ts high purity silica gel provides superior stability and excellent compatibility with active ingredients, while the narrow particle size distribution improves consistency and uniformity in formulations. As a synthetic amorphous silica in a high-purity white powder form, SYLOID® XDP 3150 is designed to transform liquids, particularly oily actives, and lipid-based systems, into stable, free-flowing solids, allowing for the convenient formulation of liquisolids, solid dispersions, semi-solids, and self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS). Additionally, it ensures improved release of APIs from solid dosage forms without compromising quality.
