UCON™ Hydrolube HP-5046D is an ISO 46 diethylene glycol (water–glycol) hydraulic fluid containing additives to resist both liquid- and vapor-phase corrosion.
UCON™ Hydrolube HP-5046D is a high-performance, water–glycol hydraulic fluid with a viscosity index of 46 cSt at 40°C. UCON™ Hydrolube HP-5046D hydraulic fluid provides performance at incredibly high pressures up to 5,000 psi (345 bars), making this fluid an incredibly resilient and reliable PAG lubricant solution. The polyalkylene glycol–based synthetic formulation of the UCON™ Hydrolube products provides versatility where they can also be used in other applications, including compressors and agricultural, construction, and hydraulic equipment. UCON™ PAG-based synthetic lubricants are longer lasting and provide a cleaner performance than other fluid and lubricant types.
UCON™ Hydrolube HP-5046D synthetic PAG is a relevantly low-cost solution for extended-term performance. In addition, UCON™ hydraulic PAG compressor fluid contains additives that provide both liquid- and vapor-phase resistance to corrosion while maintaining environmental safety. Polyalkylene glycol lubricants can extend equipment life and fluid changeout intervals and allow for more versatile equipment conditions. With changing technology and new types of equipment, hydraulic fluids must meet or exceed new and demanding requirements and conditions. Synthetic hydraulic fluids can outperform mineral oil–based lubricants in many areas, including wear and friction, resistance to sludge formation, lower volatility, greater corrosion protection, and improved thermal and oxidative stability.
