Divis Lutein

Lutein is a naturally occurring xanthophyll carotenoid found in many plants, like green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and kale. Lutein is well-known and studied for its benefits to age-related eye health concerns. In recent groundbreaking research with the National Eye Institute, lutein has been shown to support those suffering from age-related macular degeneration (AMD). In other studies, lutein has demonstrated antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and supported improvement in skin elasticity by limiting oxidative damage. Lutein can also be used as a natural alternative to yellow food coloring for products sold in the European Union (EU).
