DMAA 80 LC is a low-color grade of N,N-Dimethylacetoacetamide (CAS number 2044-64-6) in water. DMAA is widely used as a copromoter to improve the cure time of unsaturated polyester resins for industrial coatings and adhesives. DMAA is particularly effective in resin formulations with PG, NPG, or TMPD. DMAA 80 LC has a lower color specification for color-sensitive applications, such as gel coats.
