Rilprim® LES201 is a high-performance epoxy phenolic resin meant to be mixed with Rilprim® 104 BRC7 resin dilutant in 50/50 proportions by volume as part of a two-component primer system.
Rilprim® LES201 is a solvent-based epoxy phenolic resin formulated as part of a two-component primer system compatible with Rilsan® Fine Powders. It is designed to be mixed with Rilprim® 104 BRC7 dilutant in a 1:1 volume ratio. Upon application, it provides superior anticorrosion protection and excellent adhesion to extend the lifetime of the coating. It provides no loss of adhesion and no corrosion creep after 2000 h exposure to a salt spray or 2000 h in boiling water. This primer undercoat is applied via traditional or electrostatic spray techniques in a 5 to 8 μm dry film thin coat and is cured during the melting phase of Rilsan® ES or ESY powders. Rilprim® LES201/Rilprim® 104 BRC7 primer system is recommended for demanding applications on steel.
It is designed for a variety of demanding steel applications and is recommended to be applied via traditional or antistatic spray technique in a thin 5 to 8 μm dry film coat. It is not recommended for use on non-ferrous substrates where Primgreen® LAT12035 is recommended.
