TecGARD® 400 is a demist additive solution of poly-isobutylene (PIB) in a group I mineral oil.
TecGard® 400 reduces the tendency for sprayed lubricants to mist and become airborne. TecGARD® 400 can also be added tank side to improve fluid performance to desired level and is soluble in both naphthenic and paraffinic base oils.
TecGARD® 400 can also be used at higher treat rates as a tackifying agent in industrial oils.

Applications
TecGARD® 400 is typically treated around 0.1%wt or less in straight oils.
TecGARD® 400 can also be used as an industrial tackifier from 0.5 to 2.5% wt usage.
