Webinar Summary
Reliability in Uncertain Times
We know that in challenging times, maintenance is not always top of mind and that cutting fluid spend may be a first reaction. It is important to understand the full price to pay when selecting a home-brew or bargain brand thermal fluid. While they may claim to be cheaper drop-in replacement, the long-term inferior performance may lead to significant system damage that well exceeds the “savings”.
Solutions of DOWFROST® inhibited propylene glycol heat transfer fluid and water are commonly used as secondary coolants in a wide range of industrial applications. Far too often design engineers, system operators or maintenance personnel learn the hard way about “how not” to use a glycol-based heat transfer fluid. This presentation provides insight on how to effectively use DOWFROST heat transfer fluid and how you can avoid common industry problems.
