Para-Dodecylphenol (PDDP) is used in surfactants, fuels, oils, lubricants, additive intermediates, and phenolic resins. Para-Dodecylphenol (also known as 4-Dodecylphenol) is a member of the phenol chemical family through alkylation. 4-Dodecylphenol is an intermediate chemical that has the properties to produce formaldehyde resins, epoxy resin, paints, and varnishes. Para-Dodecylphenol physical properties tend to darken when exposed to elements such as oxygen and iron.
